From outdoor vows to the Great Room and silo bar, explore the spaces that make Laural Mill feel like Laural Mill. Our venue can host up to 200 guests; talk through your ceremony and reception layout on a private tour.
The Great Room
Celebrate around farmhouse tables, then make room for dancing on the wood floor. The barn also offers an indoor ceremony option when it rains.
The Grove
Exchange vows in a tree-lined outdoor setting, with wooden benches for your guests.
The Haven
A second outdoor ceremony setting on the grounds, with wooden benches and views back toward the barn.
The porch & silo bar
Gather for cocktail hour and dance beneath the porch lights. Bar service is exclusively in-house and purchased separately. Explore the bar options.
Time around the fire
The team manages the wood-burning fire pit, giving guests another place to gather beside the barn.
A place to get ready.
The bridal suite has four beauty stations, attire hooks, seating, and heating and air conditioning. A separate groom’s loft has a full-length mirror, hangers, and privacy curtains; it becomes part of the reception space later in the day.

The main barn is not climate-controlled. Ceiling and commercial fans help with airflow in warmer weather; six space heaters are available in cooler weather. The bridal suite, restrooms, and kitchen have heating and air conditioning. Laural Mill is closed from mid-December through February.

The Great Room can host an indoor ceremony. Explore that layout with our team along with your outdoor choice, and discuss how the ceremony and reception will share the barn. The indoor option does not change the barn’s heating and cooling limitations.

Arriving & parking
350 Heltonville Mill Road, Heltonville, Indiana. Use the venue parking map to plan your arrival. Vehicles may stay overnight until 10am the next day.

Both restrooms have heating and air conditioning and are described as accessible in the venue information. Bring layers suited to the season for time in the barn and outdoors.
Staying nearby & getting home
Look to Bedford and Bloomington for nearby hotel options. Arrange a shuttle or designated driver ahead of time; late-night rideshare pickup should not be your only plan.
