Southern Indiana has no shortage of beautiful scenery. Rolling hills, old barns, creekside properties. What it has been short on is venues that can actually handle a full wedding without requiring you to become a professional event coordinator on top of everything else.
Laural Mill is a restored timber-frame barn on 40 private acres in Lawrence County. Two outdoor ceremony sites, a full décor collection, and an on-site team that handles setup and teardown. Room for 200 guests. The outdoor space is there, but so is everything else you need to actually pull off the wedding you pictured.
Outdoor Space That Actually Works
The barn opens onto a covered patio through oversized glass doors. Beyond that, there is a manicured lawn with two ceremony site options — one under a wooden pergola, one in the open field with the barn as a backdrop. Both work for 200 guests without anyone feeling squeezed.
Inside, the barn is timber-frame construction with hardwood floors, wrought-iron chandeliers, and a layout that adapts to both intimate 75-guest gatherings and full 200-guest celebrations. The coordination team has run hundreds of events here and knows what works.
